Erika Healy is the CEO and Principal Consultant of Walk The Walk Consulting, LLC. Based out of Houston, Texas, she spearheads a multifaceted consulting firm that is changing the way individuals and businesses alike implement brilliant ideas. Walk The Walk Consulting offers innovative coaching in the areas of life, professionalism, wellness, and creativity. Erika is a proud graduate of Purdue University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Manufacturing Engineering Technology as well as global exposure through studying abroad in Munich, Germany. While at Purdue, Erika received numerous awards in recognition of her selfless leadership including “Outstanding Undergraduate Student Leader” and was 1 of 5 students labeled “Example Maker”. Erika’s passion and skills for coaching grew exponentially during her term as Mentor Chair for the Purdue Polytechnic Institute’s student organization “Women In Technology”. Erika continues to remain connected with Purdue’s undergraduate programs, serving as an alumni mentor to many students in varying disciplines.
Erika is a high-performing technical sales and marketing professional at Eaton, a global technology leader in power management solutions that makes electrical, hydraulic and mechanical power operate more efficiently, reliably, and safely. Erika joined Eaton in 2014 and spent the first four years of her career exceeding her annual sales goals of while growing business relationships with hundreds of key customers. In 2018, Erika transitioned from sales to marketing and is currently leading an anti-counterfeiting campaign for a $320M+ product line, combating the electrical gray market in the Gulf Region (Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas).
Erika is a servant leader and is committed to being involved in each community she lives in. During her time at Purdue, Erika volunteered with the local YWCA Domestic Violence Intervention and Prevention program as a tutor, helping elementary students develop their STEM knowledge. When Erika graduated and relocated to Atlanta, Georgia to start her career, she became a mentor in the Big Brothers Big Sisters of America program which allowed her to pour into a young high school girl, helping her develop a personal mission statement and love for herself. Erika currently resides in Houston, Texas where the Star of Hope homeless shelter has stolen her heart. She has the pleasure of serving as a classroom attendant where she gets to shine her light on the lives of children ages 4-7.
Erika is multifaceted. She is a creative genius who pairs her technical knowledge as an engineer with her proven sales and marketing expertise with her fascination with social media to deliver revolutionary solutions for her B2B partners. She is also a genuine powerhouse who pairs her fierce passion and gift for mentoring with her heart for people to deliver foolproof coaching solutions to help her clients reach their goals. Erika has delivered captivating keynote addresses on the importance of implementation and personal branding to thousands of people through commencement ceremonies, awards banquets, and leadership conferences as well as personal events including weddings and birthday celebrations.
